2nd Annual Show Us Your Shorts -
A Festival of Short Films
2010 Event Info
We are super excited to
present the 2nd annual SUYS - A Festival of
Short Films. We are starting out with a bang!
The SUYS 2010 Opening Gala at The Plaza Theatre
presents famed shorts artist and animator Emily
Hubley's Alberta Premiere of her debut feature
film, The Toe Tactic with music by Yo La Tengo.
This will screen along with the 2009 Ultra Short
Film Festival, films under 30 seconds long,
giving us a chance to introduce our new size
category: x-small (less than one min.)!
EMMEDIA is providing expert workshops and
hosting our Showcase Screening on Friday March
26th. Then off to the Plaza again on Saturday
March 27th for the main event, awards--including
the Golden Shorts, our Screenwriting Competition
winner, and Closing Gala party! What a way to
turn two!

Festival films will be announced on February
25th, 2010.
